Terms and Conditions
The conditions for using the Element website and managing your university’s participation.
Scope
These terms apply to use of the Element website and portal. Tournament participation is also subject to the relevant published rules, eligibility requirements and participation agreement. These website terms do not replace a required signed agreement. For event-specific obligations, the applicable participation agreement and event rules take precedence over general website information, subject to applicable law.
Accounts and representative authority
Use your own sign-in account and keep access secure. A representative must be authorised to act for their university and provide accurate contact and affiliation details. Official university email verification and Element’s representative review are separate from account sign-in. Notify Element of unauthorised access, an inaccurate record or a change in representative authority.
Registrations and eligibility
Provide complete and accurate registration information and only upload documents you are authorised to provide. Players must meet the published student, roster and medical-clearance requirements. A saved draft or submitted application is not an approval or a guaranteed place. Element reviews eligibility, documents, the participation agreement and payment before approving a team. Deadlines, capacity and the status shown for the selected event apply.
Fees, payments and cancellation
Fees are displayed for each tournament and division. Winter Cup 2027 is listed at 14,000 EGP per team, or 28,000 EGP for both men’s and women’s teams. Payment records on this website are verified manually; this version does not offer online card payments. Follow payment instructions provided by Element and retain your payment reference.
The stated Winter Cup policy is no cancellation or refund once the participation agreement has been signed and payment completed, subject to applicable law and the final agreement. Refunds or other arrangements following an organiser’s cancellation or material event change are governed by the applicable agreement and mandatory rights. These website terms do not waive those rights.
Competition rules, results and changes
Read the current Rules & Format and the relevant tournament page before registering. Element publishes verified results and may correct errors, which can change standings and rankings. Unconfirmed draws or formats are not final arrangements. Check the portal for scheduling and administrative updates, and raise score or eligibility concerns with the organising team.
Acceptable use
Do not impersonate another representative, submit false eligibility or payment information, access another university’s private records, interfere with the service, attempt to bypass access controls, or upload malicious or unlawful material. Element may restrict account access where reasonably necessary to investigate misuse or protect participants and the service. Contact the organising team if you believe a restriction is mistaken.
Content, logos and photography
Element branding and website content, and university or third-party marks, remain the property of their respective rights holders. Do not reuse them in a way that implies an unauthorised affiliation or endorsement. Only submit logos, documents and photographs you have permission to use. Permission for promotional use of university names, logos or participant images is governed by the relevant agreement or permission; these website terms do not create an unrestricted licence to personal documents or images.
Privacy and service availability
The Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how information and browser technologies are used. The website may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or technical reasons. Retain your registration and payment references and contact Element if a technical problem prevents an action. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Updates and contact
Contact the Element organising team through University Portal → Messages. Players can also ask their university representative to forward a request. Include your registration reference where relevant, but do not put national IDs or medical documents in a general message. Element may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Revised website terms will display a new date. Changes to these pages do not silently replace a previously accepted participation agreement. Questions and disputes should first be raised with the organising team, without restricting any remedies available under applicable law.
